Spring in Bayfield

It’s all about Community at The Bayfield Mews. We are a 55+ Community providing independent living for our residents. The Mews is pleased to tell you that we will have a booth, (C12) in the upcoming Stratford Home and Leisure Show taking place on Friday, April 13, Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15 at the Stratford Rotary Complex. If you are unable to come to Stratford, we will also have a booth (62) in the Bayfield Lions Home and Garden Show taking place on Friday, April 27, Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29, at the Bayfield Arena & Community Centre. Come out and say hello. You can also find the Bayfield Mews on our web-site or our Facebook page.

Now that Spring has arrived, we are anticipating that the completion of the infrastructure for the Final Phase will be finished very soon. There are 11 lots left for sale out of 55. Our Sales Office will be open every weekend from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. A group of our home owners have graciously offered their homes for viewing during the weekend which offers the visitor a unique opportunity to see a home fully decorated. If you are unable to visit during these hours, our after-hours contact number is (519) 565-4542 or owners in units 15, 18 or 37 will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

We also have three resale homes. The first is a Columbine and is 1,355 square feet in size. The second is a Meadow and is 1,295 square feet in size, the third is a Dahlia and is 1,100 square feet in size. The units can be viewed every weekend during our open houses or by appointment during off-hours at (519) 565-4542.

The following are examples of events that will be taking place during the month of April in Bayfield.

  • The congregation of St. James, Middleton, will host their ninth annual Pancake Brunch and Sugar Bush Tour on Saturday, April 7, 2018. The brunch will be served from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Pine Lake Campground Recreational Hall, 77794 Orchard Line. All are invited to attend.
  • Hosted by the Bayfield Optimist Club the Annual Easter Egg hunt will begin precisely at 1 p.m. on April 1, 2018. Tickets will also be sold for the raffle of a basket filled with Easter treats and toys. Tickets will be $2 each or 3 for $5. The sale of these tickets helps cover the hunt expenses and the ongoing work the Bayfield Optimist Club does for youth in the community.
