Autumn in Bayfield
It’s all about Community at The Bayfield Mews. We are a 55+ Community providing independent living for our residents. In an attempt to find some activities that can encompass social distancing and recreational activities, some of our Mews residents have made plans to start a snowshoeing group. The plan is to start with a few easy walks in our neighbourhood while they get comfortable, then the next step would be to take a walk on our path through our lovely wooded area at the west end of our property and then from there the world will be theirs!! Social distancing in this activity is automatic because the snowshoers walk one behind the other!!
We at the Mews are all supporting each other and are recommending that all our residents strictly follow all of the guidelines from our Ontario Medical Officials and our Ontario Government in our gatherings, indoor and outdoor and to maintain a six-foot space between people and frequently wash hands or use hand sanitizer. In the village of Bayfield, all kinds of activities have been organized by the businesses, restaurants and many of the community associations to assist citizens in any way to help them live within the virus constraints. All large social gatherings are still cancelled and will be until further notice in our area.
All our restaurants in the village have opened up and expanded their patio areas and they are also still open for take-out orders. Most businesses on Main Street are open but are adhering to guidelines put out by our Ontario Medical Officials.
Please keep well and keep in touch with your family, friends and neighbours!
COMMUNITY LIVING AT ITS BEST!
