Winter in Bayfield
It’s all about Community at The Bayfield Mews. We are a 55+ Community providing independent living for our residents. With the Spring of 2018 not too far off, we are looking forward to the better weather and to selling out our final Phase of homes. Take a moment to look at the Mews web-site and also our Facebook page both of which have pictures of our homes as well as pictures of recent activities that have taken place. Both are refreshed frequently.
As we get closer to the Spring, we are anticipating that the completion of the infrastructure for the Final Phase will be finished when the weather is more suitable. There are 11 lots left for sale out of 55. Our Sales Office will be open every weekend from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. A group of our home owners have graciously offered their homes for viewing during the weekend which offers the visitor a unique opportunity to see a home fully decorated. If you are unable to visit during these hours, our after-hours contact number is (519) 565-4542 or owners in units 15, 18 or 37 will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
We also have two resale homes. The first is a Columbine and is 1,355 square feet in size. The second is a Meadow and is 1,295 square feet in size. These units can be viewed every weekend during our open houses or by appointment during off-hours at (519) 565-4542.
The following are examples of events that will be taking place during the month of February in Bayfield.
- Soup’s On will take place on Sunday, February 18, 2018, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. in the Bayfield Town Hall. Local restaurants and local organizations are invited to participate. Judging will take place from 2:00 P.M. to 3:45 P.M. with the winners announced shortly thereafter. For the last several years, The Bayfield Mews has entered a soup. Our Mews Soup’s On will be held on Thursday, February 8th when four or five of our residents will submit their soup and one of these will be selected to enter the contest at The Bayfield Town Hall.
- Members of the Bayfield Artists Guild (BAG) will be brightening dull winter days with their colourful art in a display of both paintings and pottery at the Bayfield Public Library in their front windows from now until February 5th.
Community living at its best!
