Real Life at the Mews
Issue 100, June 2019
Spring in Bayfield
It’s all about Community at The Bayfield Mews. We are a 55+ Community providing independent living for our residents. Building on the four homes in block #12 is almost complete and owners are expecting to move in late June or early July. Building on Block #13 commenced in early May and good progress is being made. Planning for the building of Block #14 is well underway. There are only TWO lots left in Block #15 in our Final Phase!!
Our Open House is open from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. every Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. A group of our home owners have graciously offered their homes for viewing during the weekend which offers the visitor a unique opportunity to see a home fully decorated. If you are unable to visit during these hours, our after-hours contact number is (519) 565-4542 or owners in units 15, 18 or 37 will be happy to answer any questions you might including the inside of one of our resident’s home.
The following are examples of a few events that will be taking place during the month of June in Bayfield.
- On June 15, 2019, at St. Andrews United Church, summer residents Stephen Ralls and Bruce Ubukata will accompany soloist mezzo-soprano, Anita Krause-Wiebe in a concert they are calling, “On Wings of Song” in support of Huron Hospice. This trio has performed in many of the greatest musical venues around the world. The concert starts at 4:00 pm and the cost of tickets is $40.00 and are available from Margo Robeson at 519-565-2827 or Arlene Timmins at 519-565-2777 or can be purchased on line from Eventbrite.ca.
