Summer in Bayfield
It’s all about Community at The Bayfield Mews. We are a 55+ Community providing independent living for our residents. Building on the four homes in block #12 is almost complete and owners are expecting to move in early July. Building on Block #13 commenced in early May and good progress is being made. Planning for the building of Block #14 is well underway. There is only ONE lot left in Block #15 in our Final Phase!!
On Thursday, July 18, 2019 the Annual Mews BBQ took place and 67 Mews residents and invited guests enjoyed an evening of delicious food, music from a great band and lots of great conversation. The weather was sunny and hot, perfect for an outdoor event. Everyone agreed it was a fun evening!
Our Open House is open from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. every Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. A group of our home owners have graciously offered their homes for viewing during the weekend which offers the visitor a unique opportunity to see a home fully decorated. If you are unable to visit during these hours, our after-hours contact number is (519) 565-4542 or owners in units 15, 18 or 37 will be happy to answer any questions you might including the inside of one of our resident’s home.
The following are examples of a few events that will be taking place during the month of August in Bayfield.
- Fireworks at the Park! Celebrate the Civic Holiday Weekend with the Friends of Bayfield and the Friends of Pioneer Park as they host a Fireworks Display on the evening of Sunday, August 4th. The fireworks will be launched from the South Pier so Pioneer Park is an excellent vantage point to watch spectacle. Music will be provided at 7:00 P.M. and everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic and make a full evening of it.
- Friends of Bayfield Library will be holding their Annual Book Sale on Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17. The sale will be held at the Public Library from 1-5 P.M. on Friday, August 16th and Saturday, August 17, 10 A.M.- 2:00 P.M. Gently used books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles and board games will be accepted at the Bayfield Library August 10 from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. and August 12-15 1:00 – 5:00 P.M.
