Real Life at the Mews
Issue 105, November 2019
Autumn in Bayfield
It’s all about Community at The Bayfield Mews. We are a 55+ Community providing independent living for our residents. Block 13 is progressing well with brick work completed, patios poured and finishing touches on the inside well underway. Two families will be moving in later this month and two in December. Great news! Excavating was started on Block 14 the week of October 14, 2019, and footings have been poured and start of the foundation walls has begun. There is only ONE lot left in Block #15 in our Final Phase!!
Our Open House is open from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. every Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. A group of our home owners have graciously offered their homes for viewing during the weekend which offers the visitor a unique opportunity to see a home fully decorated. If you are unable to visit during these hours, our after–hours contact number is (519) 565–4542 or owners in units 15, 18 or 37 will be happy to answer any questions you might including the inside of one of our resident’s home.
The following are examples of a few events that will be taking place during the month of November in Bayfield.
- Christmas in Bayfield weekend is from Friday, November 15 to 17, 2019 with many activities planned throughout the village from tree lighting in Clan Gregor Square on Friday evening to a Santa Clause parade on Saturday morning through the village followed by Gingerbread Cookie Decorating at the Bayfield Public Library for all the children attending the parade! All the stores in the village will be open all weekend!
- The Bayfield Mews will be lighting up our own trees on Saturday evening, November 16, 2019 and 80 trees will be lit up to celebrate the Christmas Season at the Bayfield Mews. This will be followed by a get together at one of our resident’s homes with hot apple cider and shortbread cookies and with an added treat of Karaoke to start off the Christmas Season celebrations at the Mews.
Community living at its best!
