Real Life at the Mews

Adult Retirement/Community Living – Is it for me?

Issue 59 – January 2016

Winter in Bayfield

Do you have a story or experience related to life at the Mews you would like to share?  Please contact us.

It gives us great pleasure to report that The Bayfield Mews had a very successful 2015!  Eight families have made The Bayfield Mews their home in 2015 and from all accounts, are thoroughly enjoying their new homes.

The Bayfield Mews is now preparing to open the Second Phase of our community and we are currently taking reservations.  Half of the Second Phase Homes have already been spoken for and we are looking forward to confirming reservations for the balance in 2016!

This seems to be the appropriate time to sincerely thank those residents who have so generously given their time during 2015 to work in the Model Home and to greet our many visitors who come to see The Bayfield Mews. Many of our residents also give their time to help with several ongoing projects taking place at The Mews throughout the year.  Without their assistance, we would not have achieved the success we have had in 2015!

It is January in Bayfield and our seasonal residents have gone.  Despite this, our little village is a vibrant community at this time of year.  It offers a different kind of life during the winter months with a wide selection of programmes and activities, from exercise classes to skating to book clubs to cards and social activities at the Town Hall or through the Churches in Bayfield.  We, who are residents of Bayfield, are very fortunate to have all these activities to choose from.

Community living at its best!
