Real Life at the Mews
Adult Retirement/Community Living – Is it for me?
Issue 60 – February 2016
Winter in Bayfield
Bayfield Mews is now preparing to open the Second Phase of our community and we are currently taking reservations. We only have seven homes left to reserve in the Second Phase and we are looking forward to confirming reservations for them in 2016!
Our Sales Office will be open every weekend from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. A group of our home owners have graciously offered their homes for viewing during the weekend. If you are unable to visit during these hours, our after-hours contact number is (519) 565-4542 or owners in units 15, 18, or 37 will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
The following are examples of a few of the many events that will be taking place during the month of February in Bayfield:
- “Bayfield at the Oscars” is the theme of the Bayfield Town Hall’s fifth annual cabaret to be held on February 12 and 13. Seating will be cabaret style and there will be a cash bar at this fundraiser. Those interested in attending this fun evening will need to get their tickets early. Tickets are now available for $20.00 per person. Please contact Pat Lewington at 519-565-2202 or Margo Robeson at 519-565-2827 to reserve tickets early.
- The Bayfield Public Library is hosting an Adult Colouring Club every week on Wednesday’s from 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Come and spend a relaxing afternoon participating in this popular new pastime.
- An annual event, “Soup’s On” will be happening again at the Bayfield Town Hall on Sunday, February 14, 2016. The event will start at 2:00 P.M. with winners announced at 4:00 P.M. Come join in the fun and sample delicious soups entered from local restaurants and community organizations! The Bayfield Mews will be one of the community organizations who will enter the contest after our own event at the Mews on February 5th to pick our winning entry out of five soups offered by our own residents.
