Spring in Bayfield
The Bayfield Mews will have a booth in the upcoming KW Home & Garden Show from Friday, March 31 to Sunday, April 2, 2017, at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex and we hope you will come and visit our booth. We are very excited to tell you that the Bayfield Mews has our own Facebook Page and we are also on Instagram. These two popular social media sites offer all kinds of opportunities to keep everyone up-to-date with all the current activities at the Mews and in the Bayfield Community. We encourage you to visit both sites.
There are still openings in our Final Phase and construction on these homes is scheduled for later this year. We also have one resale home. It is a Columbine and is 1,355 square feet in size. This unit can be viewed every weekend during our open houses or by appointment during off-hours at (519) 565-4542.
Our Sales Office will be open every weekend from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. A group of our home owners have graciously offered their homes for viewing during the weekend which offers the visitor a unique opportunity to see a home fully decorated. If you are unable to visit during these hours, our after-hours contact number is (519) 565-4542 or owners in units 15, 17, 18, or 37 will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
The following are examples of a few of the many events that will be taking place during the month of April in Bayfield.
- The sweet taste of maple syrup poured over a stack of freshly flipped pancakes is a Spring ritual for many Canadians. It definitely is for the congregation of St. James, Middleton as they host their eighth annual Pancake Brunch and Sugar Bush Tour on April 1, 2017. All in the community are invited to join in the festivities. Pancakes and sausage with Rick and Rusty Schilbe’s fresh maple syrup. Coffee, juice and dessert will be served at the Pine Lake Campground Recreational Hall, 77794 Orchard Line, from 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. The cost is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 6 to 12 years. Children under 5 are free.
- Coffee and Conversation is a newly introduced programme at The Bayfield Public Library Wednesday afternoons from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. This programme is ”hosted„ by a member of the community who will brew the hot drinks, welcome participants and get the conversation started. This is a good opportunity to get to know your neighbours through conversation. Since the programme started in January, community members have gathered Wednesday afternoons for informal and friendly conversations at the Bayfield Public Library.
Community living at its best!
